Cumberland Blue won the Nashville Blues Society competition and represented Nashville at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The road there included performances at One World Music, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, 3rd & Lindsey, Bunganut Pig, Mercy Lounge, and Millennium Maxwell House Hotel. Cumberland Blue includes the singing chops of Chloe Kohanski. The rhythm section is more than rock solid with Duncan King on drums and Greggory Garner on bass. Yates McKendree tears up the keys and Grant Smith brings blues to the fiddle like no other. Hank Compton and Jackson Thatcher bring soulful guitar to the band.
The band got a tour of the Gibson guitar factory and they performed at the New Daisy Theatre on historic Beale Street. During and after Memphis, were radio interviews and performances.
